January/February 2025 intake for international students in Toronto
Is it realistic to come to Canada in February 2025 as an international student and start school not in September but in winter (January–February)? Most schools say they only accept in fall.

Yes, completely realistic. Imperial College Toronto has three intakes per year: September, January, and even March/April for Pre-OSSD and high school. We arrived from Korea in February 2025 — they issued the LOA in 4 days, study permit came in 6 weeks, and our daughter started classes right after Reading Week. They have rolling admission for international students and help with urgent visa cases.
