I'm thinking about purchasing a dedicated Linux server to host some projects, but I want to make sure I choose the right configuration. What should I look for in terms of hardware specs, security and performance? Also, how difficult is it to manage the server - do I need a deep knowledge of Linux, or are there tools that make it easier? Any tips for getting the best performance possible?
